The Snapper LT16 is a two-wheel drive lawn tractor from LT Series. This model was manufactured from 1984 to 1988. The components of Snapper LT16 powerline system: a 40.1 cubic inches (655 cc) Briggs and Stratton 402437 4-cycle twin cylinder horizontal shaft air-cooled gasoline engine with a rated power of 16 hp (11.9 kW), and Dual Range shaft-driven disc transmission with 12 forward and 2 reverse gears.
The Snapper LT16 is equipped with a manual steering system, electro-magnetic PTO clutch, drum and band brakes, 15x6.00-6 front tyres, and 21x7.00-10 rear tyres. Compatible attachments for the tractor: 42" front-mount blade, 33" and 41" mid-mount mower deck with cutting height of 1.0-5.0" (25-127 mm), or 48" mid-mount mower deck with cutting height of 1.0-4.5" (25-114 mm).
