The Craftsman DGS 6500 is a 2WD garden tractor from DGS Series. This model was manufactured by AYP from 2007 to 2008. The Craftsman DGS6500 tractor is powered by 44 cu.in (725 cc) Kohler Courage SV735 4-cycle V-twin cylinder OHV air-cooled gasoline engine with a rated power of 26 hp (19.4 kW). The tractor is fitted with several types of transmission: Peerless gear transmission with 6 forward and 1 reverse gears, Tuff Torq K66Y hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears, or Hydro Gear hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.
