New Holland 7740 Specifications
The New Holland 7740 row-crop tractor from PowerStar 40 Series was manufactured between 1996 and 1997. The New Holland 7740 tractor is powered by Ford Genesis 4-cycle vertical 4-cylinder direct injection turbocharged liquid-cooled diesel engine. A 304 cubic inches (5 L) engine has a cylinder bore of 4.40" (112 mm), piston stroke of 5.00" (127 mm), and rated power of 95 Hp (69.8 kW). This model is fitted with several transmission options: 8x2 EconoShift transmission, 16x4 Dual Power transmission, or 12x12 SynchroShift transmission.
The open center hydraulic system has a gear pump with rated fluid flow of 9.2 gpm (35.2 lpm). The New Holland 7740 is equipped with a hydrostatic power steering system, independent PTO, hydraulic wet disc brakes, 7.50x16 (2WD) or 13.6x24 (4WD) front tyres, and 18.4x30 (2WD) or 16.9x34 (4WD) rear tyres. The tractor is compatible with the following attachments: Ford 7210 front-end loader or Ford 7411 front-end loader.
