International Harvester 656 Specs
The International Harvester 656 utility tractor was manufactured between 1965 and 1973. The International Harvester 656 tractor can be powered by the following engines: International D282 4-cycle vertical 6-cylinder direct injection liquid-cooled diesel engine with a rated power of 70 Hp (51.9 kW), or International C263 4-cycle vertical 6-cylinder liquid-cooled gasoline engine with a rated power of 69 Hp (51.5 kW). This model is fitted with several transmission options: 5x1 sliding gear transmission, 10x2 two-speed powershift transmission, and two-range hydrostatic transmission.
The open center hydraulic system has a gear pump with rated fluid flow of 12 gpm (45.5 lpm). The tractor is equipped with a hydrostatic power steering system, independent mechanical disc brakes, 7.50x16 front tyres, and 15.5x38 rear tyres. The International 656 is compatible with International Harvester 1701 front-end loader or International Harvester 2000 front-end loader.
