The Mahindra 1538 is a four-wheel drive compact utility tractor from 1500 Series. This model was manufactured by Mitsubishi from 2016 to 2018. The components of Mahindra 1538 powerline system: a 166.7 cubic inches (2.7 L) Mahindra CE-38 4-cycle vertical 4-cylinder direct injection naturally aspirated liquid-cooled diesel engine with a rated power of 38.7 hp (29 kW), and synchro shuttle transmission with 8 forward and 8 reverse gears or three-range hydrostatic transmission with infinite forward and reverse gears.
The open center hydraulic system includes a gear pump with rated fluid flow of 7.7 gal/min (29 l/min). The Mahindra 1538 is equipped with a hydrostatic power steering system, wet disc brakes, 7.00x16 (AG) or 27x10.5-15 (Turf) front tyres, and 11.2x24 (AG) or 41x14-20 (Turf) rear tyres. The tractor is compatible with Mahindra 1538L front-end loader and Mahindra 1538B backhoe.
