The Massey Ferguson 4245 is a 2-wheel drive or 4-wheel drive utility tractor from 4200 Series. This model was manufactured from 1997 to 2001. The components of MF 4245 powerline system: a 244 cubic inches (4 L) Perkins 1004.4T 4-cycle vertical 4-cylinder direct injection turbocharged liquid-cooled diesel engine with a rated power of 89 hp (66.2 kW). The tractor is fitted with several types of transmission: 12x12 Mechanical Shuttle transmission, 18x6 SpeedShift transmission, 12x12 PowerShuttle transmission, or 24x24 PowerShuttle transmission.

The Massey Ferguson 4245 is equipped with a hydrostatic power steering system, hydraulic wet disc brakes, 10.00x16 (2WD) or 13.6R24 (4WD) front tyres, and 16.9R34 rear tyres. The tractor is compatible with MF 1036 front-end loader.
