The Massey Ferguson 1552 compact utility tractor from 1500 Series was manufactured between 2005 and 2008. The Massey Ferguson 1552 tractor is powered by Iseki E4DE 4-cycle vertical 4-cylinder indirect injection naturally aspirated liquid-cooled diesel engine. A 180 cubic inches (2.9 L) engine has a cylinder bore of 3.82" (97 mm), piston stroke of 3.94" (100 mm), and rated power of 52 Hp (38.8 kW). This model is fitted with several transmission options: 8x8 SynchroShuttle transmission, 12x12 PowerShuttle transmission, 3-range hydrostatic transmission, or 12x12 4-speed powershift transmission.
The open center hydraulic system has a gear pump with rated fluid flow of 12.5 gpm (47.3 lpm). The Massey Ferguson 1552 is equipped with a power steering system, independent PTO type, wet disc brakes, 9.50x16 (Farm) or 29x12.00-15 (Turf) front tyres, and 13.6x28 (Farm) or 475x65D20 (Turf) rear tyres. The tractor is compatible with the following attachments: 71" front-mount two-stage snowblower, 84" front blade, MF 1530 front-end loader, and MF 1580 backhoe.
