The components of John Deere 5090M powerline system: a 276 cubic inches (4.5 L) John Deere 4045HL286 4-cycle vertical 4-cylinder direct injection turbocharged liquid-cooled diesel engine with a rated power of 90 hp (67.1 kW), and power shuttle transmission with 16 forward and 16 reverse gears or 2-speed powershift transmission with 32 forward and 16 reverse gears.
