The Ford 1710 compact utility tractor from Ten Compact series was manufactured by Shibaura between 1983 and 1986. The Ford 1710 tractor is powered by Shibaura H843 4-cycle vertical 3-cylinder direct injection naturally aspirated liquid-cooled diesel engine. A 85.2 cubic inches (1.4 L) engine has a cylinder bore of 3.31" (84 mm), piston stroke of 3.31" (84 mm), and rated power of 26 Hp (19.4 kW). This model is fitted with several transmission options: 12x4 unsynchronized gear transmission or 12x4 partially synchronized transmission.
